Confirmation
When you receive written confirmation from Vesterålen Apartments, the order is binding, and you are financially responsible for it. By booking, you are confirming that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and your travel companions, and that you accept to be responsible for payment being made for all the travelers in your entourage. You are also responsible to inform everyone in your entourage about the booking information and any changes made. One must be over 18 years old to place an order.
Description of execution
A description of the tour is found on the booking page. Vesterålen Apartments may change the tour due to the security reasons, weather and/or conditions at sea.
Cancellations and Refunds
Single bookings (1-4 people): Free cancellation with full refund of paid amount 48 hours before departure. No refund for cancellations less than 48 hours before departure.
Group bookings (5 people or more): Free cancellation with full refund of paid amount 14 days before departure. No refund for cancellations less than 14 days before departure.
Vesterålen Apartments may cancel tours with less than 4 participants within 1 hour before departure. We may also cancel tours due to reasons out of our control (weather etc) and/or security reasons.
If we find it necessary to cancel a tour, you may be offered a seat on an alternative tour or a full refund.
Cancellations will usually be informed by e-mail to the participants e-mail used to book. Therefore, it is important that the participant checks their e-mail regularly, and inform other participants if you have booked for more/other people than yourself.
Responsibility
Vesterålen Apartments is insured for liability in an insurance company. All participants must in addition have a valid travel insurance. The customer itself is responsible for their own belongings, such as phone, camera, glasses, clothing etc. Vesterålen Apartments can not be held responsible for any conditions due to force majeure (such as strikes, pandemics, accidents, illnesses etc.).
The customer's duty
Participants are responsible for determining if they are physically and mentally capable of taking part in the booked trips. Customers must adhere to the rules and instructions provided by Vesterålen Apartments.
Vesterålen Apartments reserves the right to refuse participation if a customer poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or if their behavior significantly disrupts the experience for other participants.
By making a reservation, participants confirm that there are no medical reasons preventing them from participating in the described program. Instructions from the staff must be followed. If these are not adhered to, our staff have the authority to remove the participant from further involvement in the trip. In such cases, the participant will not be entitled to a refund.
If a participant chooses to withdraw from a trip or program on their own accord, they will not be entitled to a refund.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Any complaints must be delivered to Vesterålen Apartments in writing within 5 days after the tour. Complaints delivered to us later than 5 days after the tour will not be given any financial compensation.
Any disputes between Vesterålen Adventures and customer are subject to the jurisdiction of local courts where Vesterålen Apartments is located.
