About Vesterålen Apartment
Vesterålen Apartment is more than just accommodation—it’s our family’s story and a place deeply connected to our roots. Situated on a remote and beautiful stretch of the northern Norwegian coast, surrounded by wild nature and overlooking the open sea, our apartments offer an authentic experience unlike any other.
Our family has called this area home for generations. My great-grandparents first settled here, followed by my grandparents who met right on these shores. Later, my parents fulfilled their dream by building these six architect-designed apartments directly facing the ocean. Today, my wife and I, along with our young daughter, proudly continue the family tradition, welcoming guests from around the world into our home.
From your apartment, you’ll witness spectacular views, wild seascapes, and wildlife encounters. Eagles soar above us frequently, hares hop through the gardens, and moose often wander close by. Here, nature sets the rhythm, offering tranquility, inspiration, and genuine northern experiences.
Together with our highly experienced guides, Ian and Shirley—who have over 18 years of guiding expertise—we offer unforgettable, tailor-made activities. Whether you’re interested in northern lights tours, fishing trips, eagle safaris, snowshoe hikes, transportation services, or much more, Ian and Shirley ensure you have unique and personalized adventures right outside your doorstep.

Cancelation Policy
• Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
• 50% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 29 to 15 days before arrival.
• 100% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 3 days or less before arrival, or in case of no-show.

- Code to key-boxes: When you make a booking, you will get the code to the key box in the confirmation mail. Please provide the code to the guests. We always strive to welcome the guests when they arrive, but with self driving guests, we do not know when they arrive, and have the key-boxes for flexibility
Transfer from/to the airport: Please send us a mail
Breakfast / options: We offer a breakfast basket to our guests. This is an option at the check-out page when making the booking. Prices for 2026 is 850,- (net)
Our Breakfast baskets overflow with carefully selected, locally sourced products.
The breakfast basket is suitable for 2 breakfasts for aprx. 2 adults. If desired, you may order refill-baskets during your stay.
