Eagle- & Wildlife Safari
Our Eagle- & Wildlife safari is our most popular activity, and not without a reason. Our guide, Ian, has more than 11 years of experience with eagle safaris. He knows what there is to know about the bird and fortunately, the eagles love him too.
The activity begins with a brief introduction in our reception area, where you will be served coffee from a local coffee roaster, and tea. Here you will be introduced to the eagles' way of living before experiencing them first hand.
After the introduction it is time to head out on the water. The RIB will take you straight into the eagle's kingdom. In addition, you will be given a tour of the nearby fjords while learning more about the local communities' way of life throughout the years.
Back at the premises there will be a short debrief where you will get the chance to ask questions you may have. Ian, who is also a skilled photographer, will show you photographs from the tour which you will have the opportunity to purchase.
Practical information
- The activity starts at 10:00 in our reception area.
- Requires a minimum of 4 people or minimum price is 4.500NOK
- You will be given a thermal suit so you need only wear regular clothing underneath. Wool and warm fabrics are recommended in the winter season and in cold weather.

Eagle safari & Guided Tour of the new Norwegian Coastal Express Museum
This activity includes everything from the above mentioned Eagle- & Wildlife safari. In addition, you will be taken on a guided tour of the new "Hurtigruten"-museum in Stokmarknes.
Included in the price is pizza at the local diner on the beautiful pier in Stokmarknes.

Kayaking
Kayaking brings you close to nature and enables you to experience the beautiful fjord and scenery in a unique way. We offer activities suitable for both beginners and the more experienced.
The activity stars with a brief introduction before you go out to experience Vesterålen from the water. If the weather and circumstances allow, you will be guided to a small beach where swimming is possible.
In order to rent a kayak without a guide, we require that our guests know "self rescue" in the case of falling into the water.

Stand Up Paddle board
An easy and fun activity on the water for both children and adults. Have fun while experiencing the magic nature of Vesterålen from the water. Our boards come in different sizes and are stable on the water, making it easy for beginners, as well as the more experienced. We gladly offer an introduction if this is your firs time on a SUP.

Guided Moose Safari
Join a guided roadtrip around Vesterålen, searching for moose. Regardless of their size, moose are experts at disguising themselves amongst trees and brush. They are rarely in the same place for long, making them even harder to find. The moose is active when all is calm and quiet, increasing the chance of finding them at night.

Sightseeing by Car
Join our roadtrip by minibus and get to know Vesterålens nature, history and local contributors. Our guide will take you to the islands most interesting spots, businesses and historic sites.
The tour includes a visit to the local farm, where the cheese and butter offered in our breakfast basket are produced (only during the winter season).

Guided Fishing Trip
Vesterålen is known for the amount and quality of its fish. Join our guide on a fishing trip in the spectacular scenery of Vesterålens fjords.
We strongly recommend that you bring the catch with you and prepare it either in the oven, the skillet or on the grill.
Our guide will gladly offer a brief introduction to the basics of fishing if you are new to the activity.

Guided Hiking tour
Join our guide on a guided hiking tour. We will tailor the trip to your whises and needs. Vesterålen island is known for being "Hikers paradise", and not without reason. You can chose from a lot of different tour, either it is up a mountain, or along the coast.

Snow Shoeing
Join our guide on a snow shoe walk through breathtaking landscape. This activity is really fun and suitable for both beginners as well as the more experienced. Enjoy lunch and hot beverages by the fire lit by our guide.

Experience one of natures most beautiful phenomena. Our guide Ian will show the most beautiful spots, and teach you how to capture amazing photos of the Aurora Borealis.
